Our Mission

Southwest Florida presents a unique and fertile environment for planting a new biblical church due to its steady population growth, cultural diversity, and strong community spirit. In particular, the Village of Estero has shown remarkable growth and shows no signs of slowing down.

Redeemer Church exists to make, mature, and mobilize disciples who look to Jesus and live for Jesus.

Our Leadership

Will Patterson and family
Will Peterson
Lead Planter

The Peterson family moved to Southwest Florida in the summer of 2023 to establish themselves in the community and to prepare to plant a church in the growing area of Estero, FL.

Before relocating Will and his family lived in Southern Oregon where he served as senior pastor of Applegate Community Church since 2019. Prior to that he served on the pastoral staff at Canyon Bible Church in Prescott Arizona.

Will holds a Bachelor of Science from Crossroads Bible College (now called College of Biblical Studies) and a Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary. He and Katie have been married for 14 years and have two children, Matthew (7) and Grace (6).

Will’s passion for church planting began while serving at a church plant in downtown Indianapolis, IN, during Bible college. Since then, he and Katie have enjoyed being a part of a community built on the gospel, and plan to carry on that mission. The Peterson family is excited to be a part of what the Lord is doing to build His church.

In addition to pastor Will Peterson, Redeemer Church has three additional interim elders from Faith Bible Church serving as accountability and counsel.

Our Beliefs

Our confession of faith is adapted from The New Hampshire Confession of 1853. Redeemer Church is grateful to carry on the biblical faith of our brothers and sisters from the past. While this confession of faith serves as foundational for Redeemer Church, it does not explain all that our members believe, nor does it supersede the Bible. We believe that the Bible is the final rule for faith and practice. This confession simply summarizes what we believe to be key aspects of the Bible's teaching.
